T.O.

Looking at the title of this blog, you know exactly where I am going with this. What I may say might shock a few of you. But hey, it's my blog. Deal with it!
1) Terrell Owens did not try to kill himself...I think that it's more than just what his publicist/ personal assistant/ trainer/ in-house girlfriend, Kim Etheredge had to say about him. The whole "he has 25 million reasons why he wouldn't do it." It's more than that...I think that he is too narcissistic to do it. 2) T.O. is highly overrated. Even with the ego of Joe Horn, I think that he's the most underrated wide receiver in the National Football League today. Keenan McCardell of the San Diego Chargers or even a Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals would be a better statistical improvement over T.O. 3) Bill Parcells... need I say more? As my good friend Skooter says, he's highly overrated. I couldn't agree more! Surrounds himself with great assistants. That's the way to make yourself look like a genius. Let's name off some of his assistants...Bill Belichick, Eric Mangini, Tom Coughlin, Romeo Crennel, Al Groh, Sean Payton, and Charlie (snot nose) Weis. All head coaches.....I don't remember Parcell's winning a Super Bowl with the NY Jets or with the Dallas Cowboys (oh wait, that could happen this year...or not)...4)Here's an interesting tidbit about him... Parcells was the first coach in football history to be the recipient of the Gatorade Bath, compliments of Harry Carson. As the Giants went on a winning streak during their 1986 Super Bowl run, the team would dump a Gatorade bucket of ice water over Parcells's head. This is a tradition that is now common practice in high school, college, and professional football.

That's all I got...

Oh, and I have decided that I am now a big New Orleans Saints fan. I have always liked them, but I do even more now....Go Saints!

So here are my favs for all the sports.....

MLB: Dodgers (winning the World Series this year)
NFL: New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns
NCAA (all sports): Arizona State Sun Devils
NBA: Los Angeles Lakers
NHL: New York Islanders

Nomar is the Man~!

I am so proud of the Dodgers this morning. That victory gave me goosebumps last night. Nothing better than the Dodger dance late at night. The victory reminded me of when Steve Finley hit the grandslam two years ago to win the West. But, I've never seen Dodger Stadium like it was last night.....Incredible :-)

Stingray Retaliation~!

There are some crazy people in this world as you may already know. According to this article, stingrays in Australia are getting killed left and right and being found on the beaches. Authorities state that this is being done in retaliation for the death of Steve Irwin. Are you kidding me??? I don't think that killing them is going to bring him back. It must be the Foster's beer.....

First Day of School~!

I have my first day of classes tomorrow for the fall quarter. It's going to be my first time having classes at the main campus of Cal-State University of Bakersfield. I am looking very much forward to it, as it'll be the first time I'll be on a main campus since my days at Arizona State. I have been a student at CSUB for over a year, but it'll be nice to be with thousands of other students, as opposed to being in classes with hundreds of students at the extended campus next to AVC. I am driving up there on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I'm pretty sure I'll get used to the drive. Going to get me some breakfast, some juice, and am going to blast Dave Matthews the whole way. :-)

Anibal Sanchez~!

Props go out to the 19th rookie to throw a no-hitter and the first since Randy Johnson's perfect game on May 19,2004. Watching the highlights from the last out put a little tear in my eye. Enjoy~!

Marlins are taking the Wild-Card...

The Dodgers~!

I've really got to give props to the Dodgers tonight. They knew it was my Mom's birthday, so they decided to show up to the game. I know it's Milwaukee and all (even though I would be there in a heartbeat for the Miller), but they still get paid wayyy too much money to lose to a crappy team like the Brewers. Seriously... But, thanks to Derek Lowe and his 3-hitter, we finally won a game. It seemed like forever, even if it was only a 3-game skid. Now on to New York in a preview of the League Championship Series against the Mets. 4 wins and 0 losses is what I want this series.

I'm calling it right here, right now. Dodgers over St. Louis in 4 in the Divisional Series. The Dodgers over the Mets in 5 (as long as their pitching shows up and the Wild-Card winning Marlins don't give them a pesky time. In the World Series, it will be the Dodgers over the Yankees in 7 games. The clincher will be at Yankee Stadium. How great would that be?

What do you think? Leave me a comment.....

Happy Birthday Mom~!

It's my Mom's Birthday, so I wanted to give her a quick shout-out for being cool and giving birth to me. Thanks Mom, you rock :-) p.s. Maybe the Dodgers will win a game for you tonight.....

Suri~!

Is it just me, or does the new daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes look nothing like them? I think that it's actually the love child of Keanu Reeves. Or better yet, it's the child of Ron Hubbard (the Scientology head) and Elizabeth Taylor. Look for yourself.....
